cotton pulp with embedded text and monograph
2012

35 poems were placed inside pages to create my first longer collection of work in paper. At the edges of the text the pulp can be seen forming over the corners of the letters, wet and malleable, enfolding them into the fabric, which obscures slightly the form of the letter. The body of the text and the text itself then dry out together, bind together as one, the fibres shrink into each other and set together, both page and poem.

A selection were exhibited as part of the 'Visual Poetics' exhibition at the Poetry Library, 2013. They have also been published in Tears in the Fence Literary Magazine and SNOW journal. A critical review by Bebrowed can be read here.
